Walk

Walk if you can toward the path that you wish

Swim you can do only if you’re a fish

Skate all around in a circle with joy

Run like the wind like you did as a boy

Jump to the sun for the heat that it brings

Fly like a bird as it does while it sings

Wander forever for places uncovered

Go to the places where hummingbirds hover

Linger for longer than they would have wanted

Sing her a song something somber and haunting

Look to be someone who dreams and then be them

Walk if you can to the place of your freedom
